Isabelle Vrod, LMSW
(she/her/hers) received her Masters in Social Work from
NYU Silver and is an LMSW. Isabelle specializes in
working with individuals and couples online via Zoom.
She is passionate about supporting
others as they navigate difficult transitions and within
relationships. Isabelle uses a trauma-informed,
culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and social
justice oriented therapeutic approach. She incorporates
concepts from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral,
Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapies. She
works to combat societal injustices, especially those
related to ableism and anti-fat bias, in both her
professional and personal life.
Additionally, Isabelle has
participated in training regarding neurodivergence,
trauma, food, and the body and supports the The
Neurodiversity Affirming Model of care. During her
tenure at the JCC Manhattan’s Adaptations, Isabelle
created and facilitated programs, held intake
assessments, and provided resources to neurodiverse
adults.
Isabelle created a monthly
Relationships and Sexuality program which offered a
space for individual participants and couples to explore
topics of physical and emotional intimacy and sexual
identity. While providing clinical therapy at Bleuler
Psychotherapy Center, she worked with a wide range of
adults to process difficult life changes and
collaboratively address challenges.
Isabelle looks forward to
working with individuals and couples as they strive to
care for themselves and one another! |
