Whether you have recently
moved to France or already have an established life here, I
understand how difficult it can be to access help when you
need it most.
Losing touch with friends and family
back home and re-establishing yourself in a new place can be
challenging at the best of times. When life throws you a
curveball, it can feel overwhelming.
That’s why I offer a sincere,
confidential, and compassionate online counselling service
for English-speaking clients across France. I’m here to
support you through current difficulties and to help you
find new ways of approaching ongoing problems.
If you’re experiencing any of the
following, online counselling with me may help:
anxiety – depression – loneliness –
bereavement – loss – low self-esteem – life changes
stress management anger management – communication with
others – lack of confidence
relationship issues – sex and sexuality – gender expression
– divorce and separation
LGBTQI+ - general dissatisfaction with life – feeling low
Living in France as an English speaker
can also bring unexpected challenges:
-
adapting to a new country and culture
-
changes to identity through work, family, or community
roles
-
relationship strain with partners, friends, or family
-
feeling disconnected - from where you grew up or where
you live now
-
struggling with the language, making friends, or finding
work
-
regretting the move abroad and wondering “what now?”
In these situations, spending time with
an impartial, professional, and supportive therapist can be
invaluable. Our sessions will be tailored to your needs.
Drawing on my professional and academic experience, I use an
integrative approach - combining psychodynamic,
person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and
mindfulness. Together we can explore past and present
relationships and experiences to better understand your
current difficulties.
Although our sessions take place
online, most clients find they quickly feel at ease and
appreciate the flexibility. You can choose your preferred
mode of communication and change it as your needs evolve.
I am an Accredited Member of the
