I am a person-centred child therapist
specialising in play for children, talking therapy for adolescents
and therapeutic parenting sessions for parents.
I offer videocall sessions with
adolescents and adults.
I am an English woman who has lived in Charente Maritime with my
family for several years. I have always been passionate about the
psychological development of children and I started working in this
field very early on in my career. I am very often in training for
continued professional development to be able to improve my
knowledge and skills and I consult a Clinical Supervisor monthly.
I have a Masters in Developmental Psychology
and a Diploma (equivalent to a Masters) in Child Psychotherapy
specializing in play, dealing with all kinds of childhood
difficulties including trauma and its bodily effects. I worked for a
long time in England where mental health is taken very seriously. I
worked in an establishment for children with mental and/or physical
difficulties or Autism and I became Head of Services for the
children’s department.
