Therapeutic Support: Individuals, Families & Groups
I offer warm, practical and thoughtful therapeutic support for people and families going through difficult or changing times; not only for people who are struggling, but family members and carers supporting someone through illness, grief, past and current traumas, addictions, relationship difficulties or a challenging period in life.

Sometimes it helps simply to have a safe place to talk, make sense of what is happening and find a way forward together.

Cancer Support, Dementia, Illness & Bereavement
Support for people affected by cancer, including patients, partners, family members and carers. I offer one-to-one support and group work, including therapeutic support and a fortnightly group through Cancer Support France, Languedoc. Gentle support for people living with illness, those caring for someone, and anyone experiencing grief or loss.

Alcohol & Substance Support
Support for people experiencing difficulties with alcohol or substance use, as well as family members and loved ones affected by it. I offer practical tools and help, and emotional support; both can be needed.

Walking & Talking Therapy
A more relaxed way to talk, using movement and the outdoors to create space for reflection and conversation.

Bespoke Groups, Online & F2F
I also create and facilitate small therapeutic groups around particular needs or shared experiences. Groups can be online or face-to-face, open or closed, short-term or ongoing, depending on what is needed.

My Approach
I am a Systemic Family Therapist with a background in Gestalt Psychotherapy and extensive experience in individual, family and group work, with 25 years plus working in the field of therapy, addictions, mental health. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting my work to the people I am supporting rather than following one fixed model. I am particularly interested in our relating, and the ways difficult experiences can affect how we connect with ourselves and each other.

My aim is to provide a space that feels safe, confidential, respectful and welcoming, while helping people find their own strengths and ways forward.

You don't need to have all the answers before you begin.

We can start from where you are.
