About me:
I hold a Masters Degree in Psychology (2010) and Bachelors Degree in
Psychology (2006) with over 20 years experience providing counseling
and psychotherapy to adults from a diverse range of experience and
backgrounds. My experience ranges from working in group counseling
practices, emergency treatment centers, psychoanalytic and
psychodynamic training, and my own private practice. While I offer
support in many areas (re: stress, anxiety, depression), I
specialize in cultural adjustment issues, healing from narcissistic
abuse, grief and loss, trauma (C-PTSD, intergenerational trauma),
and anxiety. My approach is a blend of psychodynamic therapy,
relational therapy, and systems based counseling. In other words, my
approach is friendly, non-judgmental, and depth-focused, in a way
that is practical and accessible. Additionally, I am
Franco-American. I grew up in a culturally, French speaking family
in the United States, so I have direct experience and understanding
of bi-cultural, bi-lingual and immigrant experiences.
I do offer a free
consultation by video. I use Doxy.me and provide
English speaking therapy/counseling. I can also conduct sessions in
French and English. |
